DESCRIPTION:Houston Recovery Center is hosting a launch event\, on April 3\, 2025\, of their short educational documentary “A Look Inside the Houston Recovery Center” produced by Empowered\, Hosted by Meg Ryan. While highlighted by the showing of the Empowered video\, the event will also present presentation by Houston leaders including: Leonard Kincaid\, HRC CEO\,  Doctor Jahansouz Wray\, University of Houston\, Associate Dean of Students\, and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on the community impacts of alcohol and substance use\, and the work the HRC has and is doing to combat these challenges.
