Immediate Need: Support our Staff, Clients with Masks

immediate need for masksThe bottom line: our staff need masks to safely conduct operations in the sobering center.

What happened: our medical supplier cancelled last month’s order. Our new order is placed on hold until May.

Who we serve: we provide an essential service. We’re working to divert patients with substance use disorders from emergency departments into our sobering center. With the current onslaught of COVID-19 affecting our community, any extra bed available in a hospital could potentially save a life.

What you can do: We need your help and support. Have any extra masks in your home? Maybe from Hurricane Harvey days? We are making a plea for N95 respirator mask donations for our staff.

Where to go: Drop off masks, thermometers or Lysol cans that you can spare to our sobering center. It’s open 24/7 in downtown Houston: 150 N. Chenevert, 77002.
