Kimberly Thompson serves as Chief Advancement Officer at Star of Hope Mission, where she leads their donor engagement strategies, fundraising efforts, and oversees all marketing and communications. In this role, she builds strategic relationships with individuals, foundations, and businesses—aligning their passions with the mission’s goals to create transformational impact for those served. With over 35 years of fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience, Kim is deeply committed to forging meaningful partnerships that connect donors’ core values to mission-driven opportunities-fostering transformational generosity resulting in life-changing impact for those served by the organization.

Kim lives in Houston with her husband, Judge John Thompson, where they are actively engaged in the lives of their five adult children and four grandchildren.
