How our Alcohol Use Disorder and Sobering Services help the Houston Community

The vast majority of our clients only need a short-term facility to sober up. Some need help identifying the right community resources for their needs, and some are suffering from long-term substance abuse.

Our alcohol use disorder and sobering services in Houston combine acute care with strong community partnerships to help our clients reach their health goals. So, what happens when someone chooses to participate in our public intoxication sobering services?

  • First, they spend four to six hours recovering in our welcoming facility.
  • Then, we partner them with peer services and intensive case management that can involve up to 18 months of intervention toward sobriety.
  • At the Houston Recovery Center, our alcohol use disorder and sobering services are designed to take recovery support to our clients — out in the community at public locations, or right here at our Houston-based facility.

We use evidence-based approaches to promote health, wellness and success for our fellow Texans. Want to support our Houston alcohol use disorder and sobering services? Contact us today to learn more about the ways in which you can get involved.
