Conditions, guidelines and rules are changing by the hour when it comes to the coronavirus. It can feel overwhelming and surreal, at times.
Currently, our services are still available – it’s business as usual, though many staff are working remotely to do it.
We are closely following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the City, and County for modifications to our workplace, business day, and services.
We will announce any changes on our website and social media platforms: Facebook | Twitter | LinkedIn
Staying connected
Connection and support are critical to the recovery community, which are more difficult as we work to “flatten the curve” and practice social distancing to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. The following are suggested links to modify how that connection can continue during this time:
Remote recovery meetings:
Unity Recovery — 7 free online recovery meetings daily (6am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, 10pm — times mentioned online are EST)
UTHealth’s HEROES Recovery Support Group — Wednesday, 3pm – 5 pm (link to Webex)
Phone: 844-621-3956
Meeting ID: 800 608 214#
Attendee ID: 15#
Questions/concerns: 832-584-9329
Safety measures
