Our dedicated staff works to create a welcoming environment for men and women who are intoxicated and need a safe area where they can sober up. We have developed a truly unique model that serves a variety of purposes for both our clients and the community. These purposes include:
- Providing both short- and long-term support for our clients. When intoxicated individuals come to our substance abuse sobering center in Harris County, they generally stay here about six hours. However, we offer other programs that provide these same clients with long-term treatment for their substance abuse problems. We want our clients to escape the cycle of addiction.
- Relieving law enforcement. The only 24-hour sobering center located in Harris County, we have become a primary resource for jail diversion services. Instead of law enforcement having to fill their jails and devote their resources tending to intoxicated individuals, these individuals can instead receive personalized care here, all while avoiding blemishes on their criminal record.
- Preserve medical resources. Similarly, our 24-hour sobering center serving Greater Houston and Harris County can ease the strain on medical providers, as hospitals do not have to fill up their beds with men and women who are drunk or high on a variety of drugs.
Our substance abuse sobering center effectively services the Greater Houston Area, including areas of Harris County. The effect of our programs has allowed us to combat homelessness in our area, help individuals find relief from addiction and much more.
