How does a Professional Substance Use Disorder Intervention Work?
The Houston Recovery Center is a go-to destination for professional substance use disorder interventions in Houston and is used by law enforcement agencies to divert publicly intoxicated individuals from jail. We are also open to the general public and accept all walk-ins. As part of our sobering center practice, our staff of peer support coaches offer interventions for those in need. However, the interventions at the Houston Recovery Center are only done with full consent, once the client is sober.
The Houston Recovery Center respects the privacy of all our clients and understands why some may wish to remain anonymous. Private rooms are available for these clients. However, those who feel they need an extra level of support may have contact with loved ones and family members during the sobering process.
Clients who are intoxicated on alcohol or any other substance or who have substance use issues are eligible to receive help from our sobering center and substance use disorder intervention programs in Houston.
